Refund Policy

Eligibility

Refunds apply to paid Softengcloud Digital course seats invoiced by us. Complimentary scholarship seats and partner-sponsored seats follow the terms stated in their offer letters instead of this Policy.

Timeframe

You may request a full refund within 14 days of the invoice payment date if you have not accessed more than one live session and have not downloaded more than the orientation worksheet pack. After that window, partial refunds may apply as described below.

Full refund conditions

A full refund is available when Softengcloud cancels a cohort, when we make a material schedule change you cannot attend and no alternate cohort is offered within 60 days, or when your request meets the 14-day criteria above.

Partial refund conditions

If you withdraw after the 14-day window but before the midpoint of the program, we may refund 40% of tuition after deducting the cost of app lab seats already provisioned. Withdrawals after the midpoint are generally not refundable except at our discretion for documented medical or bereavement reasons.

Non-refundable items

Third-party examination fees (if ever introduced), custom data onboarding already performed for Assurance Circle clients, and completed single-module drop-ins are non-refundable. Bank transfer fees charged by your institution are not reimbursed.

Refund process

Email contact@softengcloud.digital with subject “Refund request,” your full name, invoice number, course name, and reason. We confirm receipt within two business days and may ask clarifying questions.

Processing time

Approved refunds are processed within 15 business days of approval. You will receive email confirmation when the transfer is initiated.

Refund method

Refunds are returned to the original payer via the same method used for the invoice payment when possible (typically bank transfer). We do not issue cash refunds at the Wong Chuk Hang office.

Cancellation by Softengcloud

If we cancel a program, you may choose a full refund or transfer to a later cohort at no extra tuition. Softengcloud is not responsible for travel or incidental costs you arranged independently.

Exceptions

Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may delay resolution. Force majeure events may require rescheduling rather than refunds when learning can reasonably continue. Statutory rights under Hong Kong law that cannot be waived remain available.
